Wishaw Juniors 2 v 7 Greenock Juniors
WISHAW beiled their lowly place by opening this game at a blistering pace and took the lead after only two minutes after a defence-splitting pass was latched on to by their striker to blast home from eight yards.
The Greenock's Mooney shrugged off a number of hefty challenges before passing to McLachlan who expertly swerved the ball around the goalkeeper from 20 yards to level things.
In seven minutes Wishaw took the lead again, busting the offside trap for Brown to head home from the resulting cross.
Ten Minutes had yet to pass when the fourth goal of the game arrived. Greenock's Barnes went past the home defender only to be upended in the box. Gilmour confidently stroked home the penatly.
Greenock were now begining to settle and take control of the game, particularly through the excellent play of J.P.Dow.
In the end it was Barnes who put Greenock ahead for the first time shrugging off defenders before placing the ball home from 12 yards.
After a series concerted attacks Joe Gilmour got Greenock's fourth, and his second, when he finished from close in.
Just after the hour mark Greenock put the game beyond any doubt when Barnes finished off a fine move with a 12-yard drive.
With less than 10 minutes to go, Joe Gilmour completed his hat-trick from the penatly spot once again before Middlesworth persistence paid off, harassing the home defender into playing the ball across his own goal, where J.p.Dow rounded off a fine performance sliding the ball home from 10 yards.
